The New, New Hampshire State Motto!
Every state has one, in Vermont it is "Freedom and Unity", in California it is "Eureka", in Texas it is "Friendship" and in New Hampshire, until recently, it was "Live Free Or Die".
The New Hampshire State Motto was adopted in 1945 by the State Legislature and the motto itself were words spoken by General John Stark who is considered to be New Hampshire's most distinguished hero of the Revolutionary war. Now General Stark would roll over in his grave as it becomes apparent that the New Hampshire courts have changed this statement from "Live Free Or Die" to "Live Free, The Lie".
How did this come about?
Recently, in a decision by New Hampshire judge Lucinda V. Sadler in the Family Division of the Judicial Court for Belknap County in Laconia, based on the recommendation of Marital Master Michael Garner, a well adjusted 10 year old girl, who has been described as "well liked, social and interactive with her peers, academically promising and intellectually at or superior to grade level" was ordered out of homeschooling and into public schools. The reasoning behind this move lies in Mr. Garner's belief that the girl was too involved in her religion and defended her Christian faith "too vigorously" and that she should be exposed to different points of view regarding religion.
The Alliance Defense Fund, defending the girl's right to be home schooled, stated that the diversity theory was argued in 2006 and was rejected at that time.
As World Net Daily reports:
"The New Hampshire Supreme Court itself has specifically declared, 'Home education is an enduring American tradition and right,'" said ADF Senior Legal Counsel Mike Johnson. "There is clearly and without question no legitimate legal basis for the court's decision, and we trust it will reconsider its conclusions."
The Alliance Defense Fund further states:
"It is not the proper role of the court to insist that Amanda be 'exposed to different points of view' if the primary residential parent has determined that it is in Amanda's best interest not to be exposed to secular influences that would undermine Amanda's faith, schooling, social development, etc. The court is not permitted to demonstrate hostility toward religion, and particularly the faith of Amanda and Mother, by removing Amanda from the home and thrusting her into an environment that the custodial parent deems detrimental to Amanda."
I would be willing to bet that, were this girl espousing Islam as ardently as she espouses Christianity, that Judge Sadler would have rendered a much different ruling.
Judge Sadler, you now have your 15 minutes of shame in your violation of your oath to uphold the Constitution. Please do the honorable thing and resign immediately, if not sooner. You have been on the bench one decision too long.

Black Panthers and SEIU Taking Over CIA Duties?
Now that our resident dilettante Attorney General, Eric Holder, has placed the CIA under investigation for alleged torture in relation to enhanced interrogation techniques, while the Black Panthers and SEIU, by virtue of their de facto immunity from prosecution, enjoy the top step of a two tiered system of justice, it would seem a logical choice for the Black Panthers and the SEIU to step in and take control of some of the more controversial CIA operations.As has been commented on in the past, The Black Panthers1 and the SEIU2 have, apparently, been granted blanket immunity from Federal prosecutions so it would seem only logical that these two organizations would step into the picture as the official interrogators of terrorist suspects since they will never be prosecuted by Mr. Holder.
I would hate to think that Mr. Holder's investigation, at this time, is politically motivated by President Obama's sinking polling numbers as the American people discover the true meaning of the word "change". A little diversion right now , which casts the light away from the President's failure of health care, can only help Obama as he desperately seeks something else that he can blame on former president Bush.

Bernie Sanders' Town Hall Meeting.
Well, Bernie Sanders met with the people at his Town Hall Meeting On HR 3200*.
Some of the points that he discussed with the people were:
1. The alleged "Death Panels".
To which Bernie stated:
"Let me tell you a thing or two about the so-called 'death panels.' They can't take it out because it ain't in there," and "but do you really think that in the United States of America we would have a president who would say we should kill off old people?"
Well Bernie, this bill is so poorly written that the presence of Death Panels may or may not be in there, couched in confusing and contradictory language. However, one thing is clear, the Health Care Commissioner (one individual) will have actual control over the public health care together with how much and what kind of treatment we will receive. The duties of this commissioner start on Page 42, line 3 of the bill and end on Page 48, line 24. The power this individual will wield will be awesome. The language of this bill is so nebulous that the constitutional challenges will begin, almost immediately and people, who are wrongfully denied health care because of this confusing language, will be dying awaiting a court's interpretation as to what this albatross really says. This will be among the first of the waiting lists upon which, people seeking health care, will die.
As for the question asked at the end of his statement, "but do you really think that in the United States of America we would have a president who would say we should kill off old people?", in consideration of the liberal/progressive's stand firmly FOR abortion among a population that has the rest of their lives to live and become productive, I would answer this question with a resounding YES! If the humanistic liberal progressives are willing to send unborn babies to their death, without a thought, I'm SURE that they would have no problem with old folks who are in the sunset of their lives. This is a no-brainer Bernie. This is one of the pillars of the "Complete Lives System", a philosophy that is embraced by Ezekiel Emanuel, President Obama's White House Health Care policy adviser and brother of Obama’s Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel. Rahm is, also, an advocate of "Merit Based Health Care" in which a relative value is placed on human beings, for purposes of health care dispensation, in accordance with their ability to be productive in our society.
Here are some of Ezekiel's thoughts, expressed in the January, 2009 issue (Volume 373, Issue 9661) of The Lancet:
"Some people wrongly suggest that allocation can be based purely on scientific or clinical facts, often using the term “medical need”. There are no value-free medical criteria for allocation."

"Consideration of the importance of complete lives also supports modifying the youngest-first principle by prioritizing adolescents and young adults over infants. Adolescents have received substantial education and parental care, investments that will be wasted without a complete life. Infants, by contrast, have not yet received these investments. Similarly, adolescence brings with it a developed personality capable of forming and valuing long-term plans whose fulfillment requires a complete life."

"How many people here think we should abolish Medicare? Medicare is a single-payer government program."
Bernie, this is more political theater. Medicare is going broke and will be collapsing under its own weight. Now, there is a proposal to take $500 Billion from medicare to, partially, fund HR 3200. There are some, misinformed, people out there that, mistakenly, believe that Medicare is safe and sequestered away from the ravages of HR 3200. THINK AGAIN, Medicare will undergo some fundamental changes under Obama Care (HR 3200). They're in the bill.
3. Bernie asserts that taxes haven't gone up.
However there is a small matter of the Federal Tobacco Tax that caused the price of tobacco to double overnight. While there are those among us that would claim that Obama gets a free pass on his promise not to raise taxes on those who earn under $250,000 because of the evils of smoking, remember, he still broke his campaign promise. His ambitious and expensive agenda will require more revenue than merely raising the taxes on the rich, and his tobacco tax has already greased the slope for more taxes to come on those who earn under $250,000.
Only the extremely gullible would believe that, between the Stimulus, Cap and Trade and HR 3200, that our Federal tax structure will remain the same.
Think people! THINK, THINK, THINK.
The used car salesmen are out in force selling you HR 3200. Don't buy a car that you haven't seen.
By the way, how do you feel about the Government being able to rummage around in your bank accounts, taking what they believe you owe them. IT'S IN THERE! Pg 59: SEC. 163. ADMINISTRATIVE SIMPLIFICATION HC Bill lines 21-24.

Attorney General Eric Holder And The Politics Of Race.
The Federal Hate Crime laws were legislated to take politics out of the prosecution of criminals who would commit crimes against individuals whom local politics may deem it proper to turn a blind eye because of the unpopularity of the class of individuals into which the victim fit.Oftentimes, the case for a hate crime is made if and when the assailant states certain epithets prior to the crime itself. These words are then used by the prosecution to validate the assertion that the crime is, not only, a state crime, but a hate crime as defined in Federal Hate Crime legislation, allowing it to be prosecuted in Federal court by Federal prosecutors.
In the case at hand, Kenneth Gladney, a conservative black man, was outside of a town hall meeting in St. Louis, when he was, reportedly1&2, attacked by several Pro Obama Health Care thugs from SEIU (Service Employees International Union).
The SEIU thugs, along with the Black Panthers, have been pressed into service, apparently as the Civilian National Security Force envisioned by President Obama3.
One of the thugs who was the first to attack Mr. Gladney was, another black man who, reportedly, called Mr. Gladney a "Nigger", and at least one of Mr. Gladney's assailants were arrested at the scene. However, it remains to be seen whether our Federal Attorney General, Eric Holder, will prosecute Mr. Gladney's assailant(s) for a hate crime, even though their actions meet the criteria for such a prosecution. Mr. Holder has a very poor track record on the prosecution of Americans with African ancestry who commit Federal crimes4.
Stay tuned for the outcome, although the silence may be deafening.

The White House Takes Up Spamming.
In, yet, another act of desperation to restart the administration's, rapidly sinking, House Health Care Bill, HR 3200, the White House is utilizing the mainstay of Nigerian Lottery and phishing scammers, unsolicited email, more commonly known as SPAM. All this to continue the hard-sell for this health care bill which the House, hastily, cobbled together in six weeks.As a word of caution, always be careful of giving any information out to spammers. Can anybody really trust someone who would send them SPAM? You might get enrolled in some Nigerian Lottery.

Banned from the Rutland Herald.
For the many of the Vermonters who have logged onto this blog seeking the truth about HR 3200 (Obama Care), and who may wonder, at a point in the future why I no longer post commentary in the online Rutland Herald, to put it plainly, it appears that my commentary has been banned from this publication.After a rousing exchange of ideas over the weekend* in which their online system worked flawlessly, it became apparent this morning (Monday) that my postings were placed on moderation status with my commentary finding its way into the cyber round file. Without expressing my opinion regarding the political nature of the management of this newspaper, the fact that my banishment occurred when the suits came back to work Monday morning speaks for itself.
Be advised that I have not abandoned you, the Herald has merely made it impossible to express my opinion on their website.
Political censorship is the new tradition among the liberal press. Perhaps that's why there's so much shouting going on at the Obama Care town meetings. An Attack On America.
This is a recent video which was manufactured by the Democratic National Committee for the purpose of intimidating and vilifying American citizens who express their opposition to HR 3200, the current health care bill under consideration.
In the video, the narrator referrs to the protesters as "The Right Wing Extremist Republican Base" and then makes a feeble attempt to portray their protests as sour grapes for failing to win in 2008.
The farcical statement, "They have lost the confidence of the American people" is absurd because, unlike the DNC's assertions that the protesters are Republican operatives, the protesters are, in fact, the American people engaged in their constitutional right of free speech. It is the fact that the speech opposes the Democrat's philosophies and beliefs that the Democratic National Committee doesn't like. This philosophy is well reflected in the, so-called Fairness Doctrine that the Democrats support, a doctrine which would silence conservative talk radio. This video is documented proof that the thought police are out in force.
Among some of the other fraudulent claims that this video makes, is the scene of someone, presumably a conservative Republican, hanging, then candidate Obama, in effigy. However, if you will notice, this hanging occurs in front of the office of Frank Kratovil, the Congressman for Maryland's 1st congressional district. Frank is a DEMOCRAT. So what is the DNC trying to say here, that Democrats are racists?
The Democratic National Committee's tactics are taken directly from the Janet Napalitano play book.
You remember Ms. Napalitano, the head of the administration's Department of Homeland Security? She is the one that, earlier this year, circulated the memorandum to all law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for conservatives, third party supporters and Iraqi war veterans because they are potential terrorists. When the Democrats don't like you, they attack your character.
If these tactics are disturbing to you, give the Democratic National Committee a call and tell them to "Stop the smear."

The New Snake Oil.
Selling The Hype.Today I had the pleasure of attending a Town Hall meeting in Derby, Vermont wherein my Congressional Representative, Peter Welch of Vermont, was tasked with selling the good folks of the Northeast Kingdom on HR 3200, Obama Care, however, none there were buying it.
Before I continue, I would just like to say that Peter Welch is one of the most affable people I have ever met and a natural born politician, however, as with his misguided support for Cap And Trade, he is wrong again in his support for HR 3200, Obama Care.
One of the more disturbing things that became rapidly apparent was that Representative Welch had not read the bill in it's entirety. I brought up the fact that, on pages 51 and 52, there was a clause which permitted illegal aliens to become subscribers to the Health Care plan, a fact which Representative Welch disputed. It plainly states:
"SEC. 152. PROHIBITING DISCRIMINATION IN HEALTH CARE.
(a) IN GENERAL.- Except as otherwise explicitly permitted by this Act and by subsequent regulations consistent with this Act, all health care and related services (including insurance coverage and public health activities) covered by this Act shall be provided without regard to personal characteristics extraneous to the provision of high quality health care or related services."
Both citizenship and non-citizenship, are "personal characteristics extraneous to the provision of high quality health care or related services." so "health care and related services (including insurance coverage and public health activities) covered by this Act shall be provided."
Clearly Representative Welch was unfamiliar with the bill and had, probably, not read it.
Based on this exchange, I can well imagine that none in Congress or President Obama himself have read this 1,017 page bill. This was only one example of the myriad of problems inherent in this bill. For a comprehensive problem analysis, CLICK HERE.
I went on to explicate that there is a difference between the much overused word "coverage" and the actual, timely, delivery of health care. A fact which Canada and the United Kingdom have bemoaned to the world.
In an stunning statement, Representative Welch said, several times, that HR 3200 is "A work in progress". I equated Congress and the President to used car salesmen, trying to run a high-pressure sales game trying to sell cars, sight unseen. In other words, "You buy the car now and we'll let you see it at sometime in the future, after the deal's done.
I'm sorry Mr. Welch but, unlike Washington, here in middle America we want to see the car before we buy it.

Before I continue, I would just like to say that Peter Welch is one of the most affable people I have ever met and a natural born politician, however, as with his misguided support for Cap And Trade, he is wrong again in his support for HR 3200, Obama Care.
One of the more disturbing things that became rapidly apparent was that Representative Welch had not read the bill in it's entirety. I brought up the fact that, on pages 51 and 52, there was a clause which permitted illegal aliens to become subscribers to the Health Care plan, a fact which Representative Welch disputed. It plainly states:
"SEC. 152. PROHIBITING DISCRIMINATION IN HEALTH CARE.
(a) IN GENERAL.- Except as otherwise explicitly permitted by this Act and by subsequent regulations consistent with this Act, all health care and related services (including insurance coverage and public health activities) covered by this Act shall be provided without regard to personal characteristics extraneous to the provision of high quality health care or related services."
Both citizenship and non-citizenship, are "personal characteristics extraneous to the provision of high quality health care or related services." so "health care and related services (including insurance coverage and public health activities) covered by this Act shall be provided."
Clearly Representative Welch was unfamiliar with the bill and had, probably, not read it.
Based on this exchange, I can well imagine that none in Congress or President Obama himself have read this 1,017 page bill. This was only one example of the myriad of problems inherent in this bill. For a comprehensive problem analysis, CLICK HERE.
I went on to explicate that there is a difference between the much overused word "coverage" and the actual, timely, delivery of health care. A fact which Canada and the United Kingdom have bemoaned to the world.
In an stunning statement, Representative Welch said, several times, that HR 3200 is "A work in progress". I equated Congress and the President to used car salesmen, trying to run a high-pressure sales game trying to sell cars, sight unseen. In other words, "You buy the car now and we'll let you see it at sometime in the future, after the deal's done.
I'm sorry Mr. Welch but, unlike Washington, here in middle America we want to see the car before we buy it.

GOD Bless Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Newsmax* is reporting that the Federal Department of Homeland Security is ordering Sheriff Joe to release illegal immigrants who are properly arrested, under Federal law, for being in this country illegally.Under the so-called and revamped 287 (g) agreements between the DHS and local law enforcement, local law enforcement may arrest illegal aliens under specific conditions which exclude arrests for merely being in the United States illegally. Sheriff Joe asserts that this is tantamount to an amnesty for illegal aliens.
The DHS has given Sheriff Joe an ultimatum, either sign the agreement or lose his authority to enforce FEDERAL immigration laws. If Sheriff Joe loses the authority to enforce Federal immigration laws by not signing the agreement, he cites a bevy of Arizona State laws which deal with illegal immigration, laws that prohibit immigrant smuggling and ban employers from knowingly hiring illegal immigrants. Laws which he may enforce in spite of the, new, Federal ban on enforcing simple FEDERAL immigration violations.
The Chief of DHS, Janet Napolitano, severely damaged the credibility of the Department of Homeland Security earlier this year when she sent a memorandum to all law enforcement agencies warning them to be on the lookout for conservative ideological opponents of President Obama and returning Iraqi war veterans because they are a probable source for domestic terrorism. She spent several months apologizing for that memorandum, however, the DHS is, once again, embroiled in controversy under Napolitano's guidance.
At the end of the Newsmax article, Alessandra Soler-Meetze, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Arizona stated, "He's a rogue sheriff, and he is the clearest, most visible example of why these 287(g) ordinances are bad for local communities," she said. "Arpaio demonstrates what happens when there's absolutely no federal oversight of a program that has really led to some serious civil rights abuses."
Quite clearly, the antithesis of Ms. Soler-Meetze's statement is true. It is a direct result of politicized Federal oversight which has brought about this failure of DHS to enforce Federal immigration laws, and to ensure that no other law enforcement agency enforces them either. While there are rogues in government, I would assert that Sheriff Joe is not one of them. He is merely enforcing the will of his constituents and NOT the Federal government. Government easily forgets that the VOTERS keep electing Sheriff Joe, time and time again, NOT the Federal government. Seemingly this relationship between elected officials and electorate was lost on Alessandra Soler-Meetze, as she snored her way through law school and her bar exams.
If Ms. Soler-Meetze ever DOES crack a book, perhaps she should look in the dictionary under "Rogue Politician", wherein she may find a picture of Janet Napolitano.

Dear Congress, 2010 will NOT be your friend.
It will be here before you know it. To those condescending and despotic Congresspeople who believe that they must take the President's teachings and wisdom to the unwashed masses to explain HR 3200 (the House Health Care Bill), a bill which neither they (Congress) NOR the President have read and know nothing about, they may wish to consider that it was NOT President Obama who elected them to office.
Between the Stimulus Plan, Cap And Trade and Obama Care, these lemmings have quite a pick of swords upon which to fall.
Speaking directly to those of our elected representatives who are taking a position directly opposed to the majority of their electorate, perhaps it is time for those of you who have caved in on these issues, to the detriment of the American people, to stand up for your constituents instead of cowering before the ultimate used car salesman, President Obama. It becomes clearer with each passing day that your constituents aren't buying your snake oil and 2010 looms, darkly, in your future. Perhaps it is time to enroll in some college courses to learn an occupation other than politician.
You DO need to hurry up and get another job after you are thrown out of office, after all, someone has to pay the high price for what you are contemplating.

Another Miscalculation
It was announced today that the government's "Cash For Clunkers" program has, prematurely, run out of cash. The administration's spin doctors immediately went to work explaining that the untimely insolvency was due to the unanticipated popularity of the program.
This is, yet, another miscalculation by the administration. Remember Obama's promise that, if the stimulus bill passed, unemployment would not rise above 8%? Today it is, almost, 10%! Another miscalculation!
How many major miscalculations can the United States endure before it goes the way of the Cash For Clunkers program? If the hotly controversial Cap-And-Trade tax and the National Health Care program, now being considered, become law, we will all find out, first hand, what it is like to be an instantanneous debtor with an impossible debt load to manage.
As our taxes rise and inflation takes hold, Obama's promise NOT to raise taxes on those earning under $250,000 will ring hollow. He has already reneged on that promise by failing to veto the, recently enacted, Federal tobacco tax which doubled the price of tobacco products overnight. Regardless of your position on the evils of smoking, tobacco is a legal product and injesting it is a legal activity. The vilification of tobacco is merely a smoke screen to justify his breach of the public trust.
Unfortunately, enough of our fellow citizens bought the hype of the undefined "change" that Obama was selling. Only now is this "change" being revealed.

Let 'Em Eat Cake.
It has often been said that the Democrat’s view of the solution to all problems and, indeed, even the salvation of the Earth is to raise taxes.
Right now there is a push to finance a, fundamentally flawed, national health care bill. In the grand tradition of the Democrat Party, the solution is simple, TAX SOMETHING. In this case, John Kerry of Massachusetts has proposed a plan that would place an excise tax on health insurance companies, driving up the premiums for those of us who utilize private health insurance.
Just like Cap-And-Trade, this will be a vicarious tax which will be passed along to the consumer in the form of higher premiums, making health insurance less affordable, thusly pushing health care consumers towards the, already troubled, national health care plan.
If HR 3200 is such a good plan, why isn’t congress lined up to sign up?
The fact is, if you read the health care bill, linked at the bottom, you will realize that it is a nightmare. The, unmitigated, hubris of our Congress and President, to believe that they can bring a workable national health care plan to the people where Canada and the U.K. have failed, is just astounding. Made more astounding when one considers that Congress and the President will NOT be forced to utilize this plan which would replace the top-of-the-line health plan that they all enjoy. The rest of us will be watching as our private health insurers all go out of business, forcing us all on to the national health plan envisioned by HR 3200. A health care plan in which bureaucrats will be making medical decisions regarding subscribers. A medical plan which embraces a culture of death as it encourages senior citizens to hurry up and die.
This health care plan, which will eliminate private health care, is good enough for the unwashed masses, but certainly NOT good enough for our legislators and President. If the peasants have no bread, then let them eat cake!
Clearly the Congress and the President continue to establish their kingdom as the rest of us are left to support their lavish lifestyles.

A Pandemic In The White House!
Now that the White House faces a quarantine ever since President Obama, apparently, contracted a severe case of the Joe Biden Foot-In-Mouth disease, there is a more basic observation which the State Run Media has failed to discover.
President Obama made the judgment that, while not knowing the facts surrounding his friend Professor Gate's arrest, the Cambridge Police Department acted "Stupidly" and used "Racial Profiling" in Professor Gate's case, stating at one point that, "Race remains a factor in our society." He has, since backed away from these comments.
These, thoughtless, statements have implications far beyond Obama's assertions that the Cambridge Police Department is "stupid" and racially profiles individuals, it goes directly to the heart of President Obama's perception of the political process. Virtually all of his actions are the product of faulty reverse engineering.
He, first, makes broad and sweeping promises and then, when the fulfillment of these promises becomes impractical or impossible, he backpedals. First he was going to close Guantanamo Bay within the first year of his term. Now, not so much. Then he was going to release the harsh interrogation photographs. Now, not so much. Then he promised that, if his stimulus package was passed, national unemployment would not rise above 8%, that was 2 percentage points ago. He twisted arms in the House Of Lemmings and now we are faced with the possibility of Cap And Trade (AKA Cap And Trick) legislation. An energy tax which will drive the price of carbon based energy so high that food, heat, water and virtually everything that relies on carbon based energy for the manufacture or transportation of a product, will be OUT OF REACH for most of us. Once again, as with the Cambridge Police Department, his philosophy is "Act now and worry about the repercussions and details later."
Now, we are confronted by another one of Obama's follies, a health care bill which is so full of problems that it should take the rest of Obama's term just to fix it. However, President Obama wants it passed NOW, without delay and, by his own admission, he hasn't even read the bill and doesn't know any of it's details. Details such as a requirement, on page 425, that when someone attains the age of 65, they will be counseled, every five years, to consider the possibility of ending their own life.
National Health Care has been an abysmal failure in both Great Britain and Canada, as people are waiting on lists for medical treatment, some of which will die while waiting. There is no expectation that a national health care plan will work any better here.
The Obama/Cambridge Police Department flap is merely the, most recent, example in a series of episodes regarding President Obama's impetuousness. An impetuous nature that I defined in my post of May 16, 2009.
This contagion is something that Barack Obama and Joe Biden share. The only difference being that President Obama's shoe has a bit more polish on it when he places it, unceremoniously, in his own mouth.

Transparency, We Don't Need No Stinkin' Transparency!
On the heels of the firing of Gerald Walpin, Inspector General of the Corporation For National and Community Service, for exposing one of Obama's friends, Kevin Johnson, Mayor of Sacramento, for the misapplication of an $850,000 AmeriCorps grant, EPA analyst Alan Carlin's head may now be next on the chopping block.
Alan Carlin co-authored a 98 page report citing the decline of global warming over the past 11 years and argued that the data that the EPA relies on to make its case for global warming is out of date. Because of this report, Carlin was reassigned with the following email commentary from Carlin's boss, Al McGartland:
"The administrator and the administration has decided to move forward on endangerment, and your comments do not help the legal or policy case for this decision," he wrote, according to the e-mails from Carlin's boss. "I can only see one impact of your comments given where we are in the process, and that would be a very negative impact on our office."
It is notable that this suppression occurred prior to the House Of Representative's passage of the Cap-And-Trade legislation and they did not have this information available to them prior to the vote.
If Inspector General Walpin's treatment is any measure of what Alan Carlin can expect, he will be subject to termination, by President Obama, in the near future.
Recent legislation regarding the termination of Inspectors General, co-sponsored by none other than, then Senator Barack Obama, makes it mandatory that, prior to any termination, the Office of the President must give Congress 30 days notice and a reason PRIOR to terminating an Inspector General. None of this was accomplished prior to IG Walpin's termination.
It is unclear whether former IG Walpin plans to file a wrongful termination lawsuit, however, it is clear that any who oppose President Obama will be subject to pre-publication censorship and/or termination.
The transparency that President Obama has promised seems to be getting a little foggy.

The United States has lost its moral compass under Obama.
If there is any standard by which the loss of America's moral compass can be measured, it is the Obama administration.While hypocritically raising the Red Herring of Guantanamo Bay, torture, etc., President Obama's erosion of America's moral authority on the international scene is striking. One may wonder why President Obama was so slow in condemning Iran's harsh actions against the protests of their citizens and why, when the criticism did come, Obama did an artful dance around the core issue of voter fraud which spearheaded the protests. Clearly the issue of voter fraud and intimidation resonates in the United States as well as Iran and our two governments have this in common. For this reason President Obama should keep VERY quiet on this issue.
With the "Voter Registration Fraud" indictments of various A.C.O.R.N. representatives in various states, we would look foolish pontificating about voter fraud in Iran. With our resident dilettante, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, giving the Black Panthers a "Get Out Of Jail Free Card" for their role in voter intimidation outside of a Philadelphia voting precinct, any criticism by President Obama regarding voting irregularities in Iran would be ridiculous.
Obama's Voter Fraud Unit, A.C.O.R.N., now has an official function in conducting the 2010 census and his Polling Precinct Security Force, the Black Panthers will, surely, have an expanded roll in providing "security" at the nations polling places in upcoming elections.
As the United States continues to slip into the abyss of a Banana Republic, complete with all of the obvious trappings of such, the United States will continue to plunge in world respect as President Obama unceasingly drives the USA into a moral decay, the likes of which have never been seen before in this country.
The bad guys of the world will never like us. We don't need their friendship, only their respect.

The White House, apparently, supports the violence against Iran's protesters.
The old addage that "Actions speak louder than words" is not lost on the White House's recent invitation to Iranian officials to participate in Fourth of July festivities at United States' embassies around the world.President Obama's, continuing, insistence that he will continue to reward anything that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the Ayatollah Khamenei do against their population, with a hand of friendship perpetually extended to the current government, belies anything which issues from Obama's mouth. After all, talk is cheap and it is the action that matters.
While Obama's, increasingly, strident vitriol continues against the actions of the Iranian government against the protesters, Obama's hand of friendship remains outstretched to the very same government who is slaughtering their own citizens for protesting the fraud that occurred in the Iranian elections.
Perhaps this will become more understandable if one considers the election fraud of 2008 for which A.C.O.R.N. agents have been indicted in a number of states. Perhaps the current administration and Ahmadinejad have more in common that meets the eye.

Europe Rejects Tax and Spend Bailouts and Stimulus Packages.
Most of Europe's liberal governments suffered blistering defeats at the ballot box as voters have taken a decisive turn to the right. They are in a unique position to view the dark tunnel, into which the U.S. is just now entering, from a point much closer to the exit.
The people of Europe have rejected the unrestricted drain into which their money is flowing and their views have been shaped by experience, unlike the United States who still has the starlight of liberal promises blinding them.
Since Europe has led the way for the United States, as we climb onto the precipice of bankruptcy, it will be interesting to see if the taxpayers correct the course of the USA in 2010.

What A Terrorist Should Be.
OOPS! Here's another one that doesn't seem to fit Janet Napalitano's vision of what a terrorist should be. These Muslim terrorists are popping up all over the place.Maybe that's because Janet has law enforcement chasing their tails with her whacky memorandums informing law enforcement to be on the lookout for third party candidate supporters, Disgruntled Military Veterans, Second Amendment Advocates, people that are upset with the first African American President and those associated with violent Christian organizations.
Clearly Ms. Napalitano wouldn't know a terrorist if one crawled up in her lap and called her mama.
Hopefully, law enforcement officers are ignoring her and going after the real threat to our country which are now, and have been, Muslim extremists.
Ms. Napalitane, please do your country a favor and step down.

The New Racism.
Attorney General Holder gives the New Black Panthers a "Get Out Of Jail Free" card.

First, Obama appointees were merely plagued with tax problems, now their racism is showing.
Imagine two Klansman, in full Klansman regalia, standing outside of a polling booth carrying billy clubs. Does anyone really think that Mr. Holder would be as forgiving of them as he is of the Black Panthers, in full uniform, doing the same thing?
In moving to dismiss the case, the Justice Department stated, "These same Defendants have made no appearance and have filed no pleadings with the Court. Nor have they otherwise raised any other defenses to this action. Therefore, the United States has the right ... to dismiss voluntarily this action against the Defendants."
Why, you might ask, did the defendants not make any attempt to defend themselves? It could be that the fix was in before the trial began. Don't you just love justice, Chicago style?
Imagine a Republican President nominating a Hispanic candidate for the Supreme Court, such as candidate Sonia Sotomayor, who stated, "I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life." Does anyone doubt that that would raise a few eyebrows?

The legacy of the Obama administration is, rapidly, shaping up as the most impetuous administration the USA has ever seen. It seems that his grandiose proclamations are, one-by-one, being followed by reversals and backtracking that have the Obama administration looking, more and more, like the Bush administration each and every day. His proclamation that Guantanamo prisoners have rights in Federal Courts is now being backtracked to the Bush doctrine of Military tribunals. The difficulties associated with the closing of Guantanamo and the release of the Guantanamo prisoners poses a greater problem for President Obama than Candidate Obama contemplated. What will be done with the Guantanamo prisoners now that the rest of the world has shown an extreme reluctance to take them? The Obama administration has already stated that many of them will end up in the United States, perhaps as one of your neighbors.
Obama's decision to release the Enhanced Interrogation Techniques photographs was, quickly, reversed based on the advice of the Pentagon and it is my prediction that he will also choose to reverse his decision not to release the hotly contested memos, requested by Dick Cheney in his FOIA request, which reportedly cite specific successes of the EITs. Obama's cherry picking of only the memos which make a case against the Bush administration, without releasing the memos which demonstrate the effectiveness of the EITs in keeping America safe, will smack of a cover-up and a purely political motivation in releasing the memoranda in the first place.

In a flurry of political justice, the Democrat's highest ranking member, President Obama, in an attempt to discredit Bush and the prior administration with the issue of Enhanced Interrogation Techniques, has shot his own party in the foot and now it is Nancy Pelosi, Democrat and Speaker Of The House, who must fight for her political survival because of her apparent complicity with that which her political peers have said is criminal conduct by the Bush administration.
Ultimately, the larger picture may be seen by some of the more enlightened Democrats, that President Obama should look before he leaps into decisions which seem to have more of an adverse than a positive effect on congressional members of his own party. Such is the Law of Unintended Consequences and the justice that it can bring. In this revelation, President Obama may, currently, be viewed by his own party as a "loose cannon" and a future political liability to the Democrats as he continues to, inadvertently, expose their own wrong doing through his political jabs at the prior administration.

The Storm Troopers Wear Prada
Having replaced their Jack Boots for Prada pumps, the new Storm Troopers of the left have, typically, become white upper middle class women with a chip on their shoulder.
First, we have Janet Napolitano, Chief of the Department of Homeland Security, who has painted, with a broad brush, anyone who would question government policies, support a third party candidate or, merely, be a Veteran returing home from the Middle East, as a "Right Wing Extremist" and someone who bears surveillance by local law enforcement. Clearly Ms. Napolitano has abused her office to exact retribution, through name calling and referral of such persons to law enforcement, on any citizen who will not walk in lock step with the current administration.
Can I get a Sieg Heil here?
Then there is the activist reporter, Susan Roesgen, working for CNN who, while interviewing a Tea Party participant, lost any pretense of objectivity and became rude, angry and argumentative at the Tea Party concept and, ultimately, berated the individual whom she was interviewing, choosing to denigrate all Tea Party participants by stating that this nationwide movement was being staged by Fox News.
Can we get a Sieg Heil for Susan?
Then there is the tale of two geniuses.
In a recent interview, conducted by Keith Olbermann on MSNBC, Janeane Garafolo stated that all who attended the Tea Parties were racist. Yes folks, in her interview she, immediately, played the "Race Card". Why you might ask? Because after this gauntlet is thrown down, there is no need to discuss the real issues that commenced the Tea Parties, issues which Ms. Garafolo was, obviously, not prepared to discuss. The fact that Keith Olbermann gave her a podium is not remarkable as he is a lifelong liberal elitist operating under the pretense of being a journalist.
Can we get a Sieg Hiel for Janeane? Can we get a second Sieg Hiel for Keith?
So this is the new face of of the Storm Trooper Liberals and their Blitzkrieg to silence honest discussion and dissent over government policies. If you disagree with the government the liberal elite will go after you with a vengeance, calling you every vile, nasty name they can conjure up, then they will advise local law enforcement to place you under surveillance.
If this makes you angry and you are thinking about voting for a third party candidate in the future, you should keep this decision a secret. According to the Department of Homeland Security, supporting a third party candidate also makes you a "Right Wing Extremist".
